Chongqing, China – Media representatives from more than 30 countries and regions recently visited Haifu Technology during the 5th Global Media Innovation Forum, jointly organized by China Media Group (CMG) and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. Journalists from Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe explored how China's original High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology is transforming patient care around the world.

During the visit, Professor Lian Zhang, President of Chongqing Haifu Hospital, introduced the advantages of HIFU as a non-invasive treatment that preserves organs and improves patients' quality of life. To date, Haifu's HIFU technology has treated more than 360,000 patients worldwide, helped over 200,000 women preserve their uterus or breasts, and enabled the birth of more than 5,000 "Haifu Babies." He also highlighted the role of 5G-enabled remote collaboration in expanding access to expert treatment across borders.

The delegation also met Professor Zhibiao Wang, Co-inventor of the HIFU system, who shared the journey of China's original focused ultrasound technology from laboratory research to global clinical application. He emphasized the importance of international collaboration in bringing innovative, patient-centered healthcare to more countries.

A live demonstration of HIFU technology gave visitors a firsthand look at how focused ultrasound can precisely destroy targeted tissue without surgery or incisions, impressing journalists from around the world. The delegation also heard from a HIFU patient whose limb was preserved through non-invasive treatment, highlighting the technology's life-changing clinical impact.

The visit showcased Haifu Technology's commitment to advancing non-invasive medicine through innovation, international cooperation, and clinical excellence, bringing China's original HIFU technology to patients worldwide.
