The John Radcliffe Hospital is a large tertiary teaching hospital in Oxford, England and was founded in 1973. It is the main teaching hospital for Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. As such, it is a well-developed centre of medical research. It also incorporates the MedicalSchool of the University of Oxford. It is part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. It was named after John Radcliffe, an 18th-century physician who graduated from Oxford University.
Haifu JC200 focused ultrasound tumour therapeutic system was introduced into Radcliffe hospital in 2010, and was mainly used for the treatment of liver tumours, kidney tumors and uterine fibroids.
