Chongqing, China – A delegation led by Ms. Morakane Mosupyoe, Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, South Africa, visited Haifu Technology during the 8th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) to learn more about China's original High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology and explore future healthcare cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation toured Haifu Technology's Innovation Park and gained firsthand insight into how HIFU enables non-invasive treatment without incisions, blood loss, or radiation. Impressed by the technology's clinical benefits, Speaker Mosupyoe expressed her hope that the latest JC300 System will soon be introduced to South Africa to benefit more patients. She also shared her confidence in the technology, saying she would like her own daughter to receive HIFU treatment at Chongqing Haifu Hospital.

The visit highlighted a long-standing partnership between Haifu Technology and South Africa. In 2015, with support from both the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and the Gauteng Provincial Government, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital introduced Africa's first JC200 HIFU Tumor Therapeutic System. Since then, the center has treated more than 1,000 patients from South Africa and neighboring countries, while helping many women preserve their fertility through non-invasive treatment.

Today, Haifu's systems are installed in 36 countries and regions, with more than 360,000 patients treated worldwide. Through technology transfer, physician training, and international collaboration, Haifu continues to expand access to advanced non-invasive healthcare and strengthen medical partnerships across Africa and beyond.
