Ultrasound ablation,Noninvasive medical representative,Creating happy family
Beijing, China — September 21, 2025 — The Founding Conference and First Academic Meeting of the Multidisciplinary Committee on Minimally and Non-invasive Medicine, under the China Association of Medical Education (CAME), was successfully held in Beijing from September 19 to 21, 2025. The event gathered more than 300 clinicians, researchers, and educators from across China to discuss the future of precision, minimally and non-invasive healthcare.
Guided by the Healthy China 2030 initiative, the new committee aims to promote the development, standardization, and integration of minimally and non-invasive techniques across multiple disciplines. The goal is to build a collaborative platform uniting medicine, education, research, and industry—accelerating innovation while ensuring safety, accessibility, and equity in healthcare.
Minimally and non-invasive medicine has become one of the most dynamic frontiers of modern clinical practice, offering significant advantages such as smaller trauma, faster recovery, and fewer complications. It is increasingly applied in gynecology, oncology, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, and rehabilitation—reshaping the traditional surgical paradigm toward precision and patient-centered care.
As a representative innovation in the field, High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), demonstrates the transformative potential of non-invasive energy-based therapy. By focusing ultrasound energy precisely on internal lesions, HIFU produces localized temperatures around 65°C, inducing irreversible coagulative necrosis of target tissues without any incision, bleeding, or radiation.
The procedure integrates MRI planning and real-time ultrasound guidance, ensuring precise, conformal ablation while preserving surrounding structures. It enables safe, organ-preserving treatment for tumors such as liver, pancreatic, and breast cancers, uterine fibroids, and adenomyosis, even in patients who are elderly or unfit for surgery.
To date, more than 330,000 patients worldwide have benefited from HAIFU® systems, which are installed in hospitals across 35 countries and regions. The technology has been incorporated into multiple international clinical consensus statements, further validating its safety, efficacy, and reproducibility.
The establishment of this committee marks a new stage for China’s minimally and non-invasive medicine, moving from single-specialty advancement to multidisciplinary coordination and standardized development.
HAIFU Medical, as a pioneer in non-invasive therapeutic technology, will continue to support scientific research, physician education, and clinical collaboration, advancing the global transformation of surgery from “invasive to non-invasive” and from “repair to preservation.”
The conference concluded with a shared vision: to make minimally and non-invasive technologies more accessible, more intelligent, and more beneficial—empowering patients with safer and higher-quality care in the era of precision medicine.
