On the 10th of September, Menna Rawlings CMG, Director-General Economic and Global Issues at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK, visited Chongqing Haifu Medical with Cecille El Beleidi, Consul-General Chongqing, following the visit of Richard Burn, HM Trade Commissioner for China on the 27th of August, 2019.

Menna Rawlings was thrilled to see this China-innovated HIFU technology and touched by the deep British-Sino collaborationbetween the University of Oxford and Chongqing Haifu Medical in the field of focused ultrasound surgery. She believes that win-win cooperation in a better all-round manner will be achieved, and she hopes to see the undertaking of a multi-center study in the UK soon and also the establishment of a British HIFU center serving as a radiating role to the rest of the world.
