On the 27th of August, a British Delegation led by Richard Burn, HM Trade Commissioner for China, and Cecille El Beleidi, Consul-General Chongqing, visited Chongqing Haifu Medical for a glimpse of its original HIFU technology of high repute. 

The delegation was excited about the cooperation between the University of Oxford and Chongqing Haifu Medical in the past two decades and also the NICE approval of ultrasound-guided high-intensity transcutaneous focused ultrasound for symptomatic uterine fibroids. Besides, Richard Burn was amazed at the sight of a capitalized B resulted from the “ablation” of the plexiglass by HIFU while his hand remained intact under the plexiglass. He expressed that he would help to facilitate more potential cooperation between British medical institutions and Chongqing Haifu Medical.
