In early December 2024, two obstetricians and gynecologists from HIFU Center in Nairobi, Kenya, DR. EYELYN and DR. JACKLINE, embarked on a journey to Chongqing, China, with the aim of attending a two-week medical training in Chongqing Haifu Hospital. To deeply understand and systematically master the original non-invasive treatment technology of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in China. In Chongqing Haifu Hospital, DR. EYELYN and DR. JACKLINE received systematic theoretical training, observed several focused ultrasound ablation operations for benign uterine diseases, and hoped that this technology could benefit more African patients.

As a gynecologist and mother, DR. EYELYN deeply realized the tremendous impact of laparotomy and HIFU non-invasive surgery on patients' postoperative life. Therefore, she travelled thousands of miles to China to learn this technology with her baby, who was only three months old and still needed to be breastfed, accompanied by her family. DR. EYELYN's dentist husband fully supported his wife's decision. He temporarily put aside his work and devoted himself to exploring micro-non-invasive technology learning in Chongqing with his wife and children. This desire for knowledge and care for patients is deeply admired.
